NAGC 60th Annual Convention and Exhibition

The theme of the convention is “Shifting into High Gear”. There are 15 strands including general sessions, mini-keynotes, the signature series, poster sessions, and exhibitor workshops which can develop, increase and reinforce the knowledge and skills. Details and speakers to be announced.

Third International Conference on Talent Development & Excellence

The conference is hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Education, the International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence and the Turkish Association for the Education of Talented Children. The theme of the conference is “From Early Potential to Excellence”, which focuses on learning pathways for the transformation of early potential in to adult excellence. Conference topics include talent development, intelligence, giftedness, creativity and other types of human ability.

20th WCGTC Biennial World Conference

The conference is organised by The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC). This conference aims at increasing public awareness, developing passion for the future of gifted and creative students and thus increasing investment in the gifted education field. The theme of the conference is “Celebrating Giftedness and Creativity”.

2013 Gifted and Talented Education (G.A.T.E) Conference

The conference provides the platform for ideas, research, practical strategies and resources sharing with the focus of creativity and innovation in gifted and talented education throughout Australia. The theme for the conference is “Unleash the Gifted Potential”.

Confratute 2013

Confratute is a professional development conference and summer institute mixed with fraternity. Educators are equipped to addressing the needs of all students, as well as the gifted and talented through acquiring research-based practical strategies for engagement and enrichment.

2013 SENG Conference

The conference is organised by SENG (Support Emotional Needs of the Gifted). Presentations focus on the social and emotional development and needs of gifted people and the challenges facing the gifted population. The theme for the conference is “Warm a Gifted Heart”.

Belin-Blank Fellowship Programme in Gifted Education

The Fellowship Programme is provided by the Belin-Blank Centre at The University of Iowa with the aim of helping teachers learn better methods for working with gifted students in the classrooms.

Professional Summer Institute

The summer institute is organised by the Center for Gifted Education at the College of William & Mary. The purpose of this institute is to provide teachers and administrators with the knowledge and skills to design and utilize high quality curriculum within effective programmes for advanced learners.

The theme of the convention is “Reaching Beyond the Summit – Educating with Altitude”.

8^th Annual Meeting of National Talented Specialty Committee of the Chinese Talents Society

This symposium is organised by National Talented Specialty Committee of the Chinese Talents Society.  The pattern for this conference is an alternating one between concentrating on regional (east Asia) and international themes. 2012 saw the focus on regional gifted education and the theme was early years’ education and presentations were made from Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong as well as the Mainland.

The 12th Asia Pacific Conference on Giftedness

This event comprises keynote presentations, practical learning sessions, case studies assessing progress made in gifted curriculums along with educational youth camp activities. The theme for the Conference is “Nurturing Talent, Growing Potential” which provides the scope to explore the key factors contributing to the empowerment of Gifted Children education.

Annual Meeting and 14th Symposium of Chinese Association of Gifted Education

The symposium provides not only a platform for educators of gifted students to share their teaching experience, but also an opportunity for teachers to reflect on their teaching practices so as to identify issues related to gifted education and their coping strategies which provides future direction of GE  development and enhance quality of education. 

Hong Kong Biennial Gifted Education Conference 2012

The conference is organised by The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) and the Education Bureau. The theme for the conference is “Nurturing Gifts: How Schools can Support Gifted Learners” which aims at bringing academics and educators together to consider and discuss the strategies and directions of development for gifted education, and to share experiences in the provision for gifted students. 

19th World Conference for Gifted and Talented Children

This event comprises conference, youth summit and parents partnership prgramme for the participation of gifted educators, psychologists, gifted and talents coordinators, school teachers, graduate students, youngsters and parents worldwide. 

CEC 2011 Convention & Expo

The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is an international professional organisation promoting special and gifted education. The 2011 Convention & Expo is the annual professional development event for educators from around the world to share, learn and exchange issues in the field of special and gifted education.

National Talented Education International Conference (conducted in Chinese)

- The Conference is organised by the National Talented Specialty Committee of the Chinese Talents Society. The main theme of the Conference is about the rationale and conception of talented education.

Confratute is a combined CONFerence, FRATernity, and instiTUTE . This year’s Confratute is geared toward providing educators with research-based practical strategies for engagement and enrichment learning for all students, as well as meeting the needs of gifted and talented students.

Conference: "Creativity in Business and Education: Interdisciplinary and Intercultural Aspects"
- The conference aims to discuss the state of art of creativity in education and organisations, two core disciplines of the international master study programme “Psychology of Excellence in Business and Education”, and the possible themes for international collaboration on creativity research in Europe, Asia and other parts of the world.

The Conference is organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Education. The programme will consist of a mix of plenary and parallel sessions grouped into different streams, such as curriculum and pedagogy, student learning and educational leadership, etc.

11th Asia Pacific Conference on Giftedness
- The theme of the conference is “Thinking Smart: Effective Partnerships for Talent Development”. It is an important time for gifted education internationally and it has secured dynamic gifted educators from across the globe to stimulate and challenge people’s thinking. It will be a great opportunity to hear new ideas and to renew connections with colleagues from the Asia-Pacific rim and beyond.

- Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development is a membership organization that develops programs, products, and services essential to the way educators learn, teach, and lead. Information on the Summer Conference will be available on January 2009.

NAGC 56th Annual Convention & Exhibition
