Bad Weather Arrangements for Student Programmes/Activities
- If the Education Bureau (EDB) announces that all day school classes will be cancelled due to bad weather, all programmes/activities of the HKAGE will also be suspended or cancelled.
- If the EDB does not announce the cancellation of classes, the following arrangements will be applied to the programmes/activities of the HKAGE.
- Participants should visit the Academy’s website (ge.hkage.org.hk) for information on the latest arrangements.
- Parents should decide whether their children should attend the programmes/activities after considering the weather, traffic and the entire environmental conditions. In such a case, students not attending the session will be regarded as absent. Parents may exercise their discretion in deciding whether or not to pick up their children at the time of inclement weather.

Avian Influenza A (H7N9)
Updated Arrangements for Student Programmes and Activities During the avian influenza A (H7N9) Outbreak
- When the Education Bureau announces the cancellation of classes in all secondary schools as a result of the outbreak of avian influenza A (H7N9), all HKAGE student programmes and activities will be cancelled or postponed. Student members will have to visit our website later for information on further arrangements.
- If there is a confirmed case of avian influenza A (H7N9) among the student members of the HKAGE, that infected student member and all his/her classmates who have attended the same classes should not attend all other HKAGE classes for 14 days with effect from the date of the confirmed case.
